🖤 Love Letter from Leah – January 2026
Your monthly dose of soft nourishment from Leah @ TNS
Hello dears,
Happy New Year! How was your Christmas season? Mine was full of magic, light, and cosiness. I was alone at home for the holidays, so I did a few special things for my inner lover-girl like buying tickets to the holiday lights at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, taking trips down to the Chattahoochee River for prayer and meditation, celebrating Hanukkah with the two Jewish women I lived with for a few weeks while housesitting, attending virtual Christmas Eve service at my church in Boston, and mystical walks at the historic Oakland Cemetery.
Truly, it’s been a season of growth, heart-opening, wonder, and connection alongside little pockets of grief, fatigue, and loneliness.
As I head into 2026, I’m finding myself reflecting on my personal word of the year,
presence: what it means to be truly inhabited, joyful, authentic and at peace within myself.
So, on that note, in this January edition of Love Letters from Leah, I’ll be sharing a few nourishing ways to be more present with yourself so you can meet 2026 with more calm and steadiness.
Remember, you are enough as you are and you don’t need aggressive resolutions or pressure to grow into your best self this year.
Wishing you so much warmth and blessing.
🖤 xoxo, Leah
PS. Before we go further into this letter, I want to check in with you:
What’s been beautiful for you lately?
What have you been quietly carrying on your own?
What’s your 2026 word of the year?
Feel free to hit reply to share. I will respond thoughtfully.🖤
(or if you’re feeling brave)
Seasonal Self-Nourishment
Just a few nourishing things I did for myself this month. I encourage you to maybe give one or all of them a try.

What’s something else you like to do to nourish yourself around this time of year?
What I’m Listening to Right Now
While doing my editorial work, I’m flashing back to when I was 13 and loved this movie. It’s definitely helping me embody Jenna Brink energy. Editor-in-Chief of Poise. 💅
