🖤 Love Letter from Leah – April 2026
Your monthly dose of soft nourishment from Leah @ Nourished Sensitive Magazine
This love letter is best experienced on Substack, where the full piece can be read in its entirety. If you’re reading from your inbox, the message may be shortened—feel free to click through to fully land in the space I’ve created for you here. 🖤
Dear lovelies,
The earliest tells of spring on Cape Cod are emerging in the form of snowdrop flower clusters in the backyard garden.
Earlier in the week, I spoke with Kris, and shared “through my eyes” what was growing back home. I felt her smile into the phone as she shared how her yard “has always been allowed to grow as it pleased.” I smile in return. A lovely moment between new friends.

Kris’s neighbor Faye says the magnolia tree will bloom soon, but only for a short while until the ocean winds blow it all away. Some part of me wishes make it bloom now, then make the beauty stay.
But if the flowers took off their jackets now, they would die. And if their beauty lasted forever, what would there ever be to appreciate?

The title song of this month’s TNS curated playlist (which I’ve been listening to non-stop) suggests that perhaps,
both can be true.
We can want things to be different AND we can be okay, and maybe even find some joy in, exactly where things are right now.
In this April edition of Love Letter from Leah, let’s continue the thread of Presence we started back in January, Mindfulness from February, Beauty from March, and to all three, let’s weave in this latest thread of Acceptance for a whole new month of nourishment.
Acceptance – the practice of meeting reality as it is.
Below, I share a handful of nourishing resources and offerings that have been supporting my unfolding through this season.
Including our newest community space: The Nourished Sensitive Collective Reader’s Circle and a new circle offering and TNS facilitator: Living Well with Chronic Illness, with Cara Nissen.
I invite you to explore whatever resonates.
🖤
xoxo,
Leah
PS. Before we go further into this letter, let’s check in:
What are you being invited to accept in this season,
not because you like it, but because it is simply what’s here?Where might you be trying to rush a process that isn’t ready to bloom yet?
What part of yourself is asking not to be fixed, changed, controlled or improved, but simply met, held, and allowed?
You may wish to journal privately, share in a reply, or leave a short comment on this post. I always respond thoughtfully. 🖤
Leah’s Seasonal Self-Nourishment Toolkit
Just a few nourishing things I did for myself in this month of acceptance. I encourage you to maybe give one or all of them a try.

Discover the “Brilliance of You” in The Magical Spirit Oracle: My best friend Marina introduced me to Alexis Rakun Art a few years ago and her oracle deck has since become one of my favorites. I turn to it whenever I need to add a little sparkle, magic, and creativity to my spiritual practices.
The Taste of Gummy-Bear on Your Lips: I’m loving this nourishing and hydrating lip sleeping mask from Korean beauty brand, LANEIGE. Their scents are so yummy and your lips feel velvety soft once applied. Use My Invite for $15 off your first order (I get $15 too, mwah 💋!)
My New Favorite Pair of (Real!) Denim Jeans from LOFT: I’ve been a LOFT girly for years. I love their classic fits, minimalist styles, and quality for the price. For years, I’ve been searching for real denim jeans (instead of those awful stretchy fake ones) and finally found the right fit in Rivete.
Follow The Nourished Sensitive on Pinterest: nourishing recipes, nail design, collage art, holistic wellness and more!
Holistic Nutrition Support with Leah: Looking for holistic, whole-person nutrition support? I’ve coached 400+ people to improve their metabolic health, overcome eating challenges, build body trust, heal from chronic digestive disorder, simplify meal planning, and support well-being holistically. Read patient reviews and book your session covered by insurance.
The Nourished Sensitive April Playlist
I’ve curated a list of songs currently walking me through this season of radical acceptance, featuring a few of my favorite artists and singer-songwriters from Ben Abraham and Kacey Musgraves, to Lucy Clearwater, Addison Agen, and Trousdale.
Playlist Vibe & Recommended Listening:
Walking off your melancholy in a soft spring rain.
Inviting sun into your eyes first thing in the morning.
Sitting on the beach at dawn watching the tide come in.
Laying on the porch wrapped in a blanket of rising stars.
Sipping on a glass of Rosé with your journal on the table.
Romanticizing your grief and alchemizing it into purpose.
What’s a song walking you through this season?

The Nourished Sensitive Friendship Circle
Next Circle April 9th, Monthly | FREE · Drop-In · Community
A relaxed gathering space where highly sensitive people can come together to connect, share, and build meaningful friendships.
Each month we gather to slow down, check in with one another, and talk about the real experiences of living as sensitive people in the world. You’re welcome whether you feel like sharing, listening, asking questions, or simply being present.
Inside each Sensitive Sanctuary Circle, you can expect:
• A short grounding moment to help us arrive and settle
• Open, lightly facilitated conversation
• A friendly space to share experiences and perspectives
• Genuine listening and mutual respect
• A relaxed, non-performative atmosphere
• The freedom to participate in whatever way feels most natural
Because the space is intentionally unstructured, each gathering unfolds differently depending on who shows up and what people are carrying that day.
Conversations often naturally touch on things like:
• navigating overstimulation, burnout, or emotional overwhelm
• being sensitive in work, family, or relationships
• food, body, and nourishment as sensitive people
• friendship, loneliness, and the desire for belonging
• boundaries and energy in a loud, fast world
• creativity, intuition, and inner worlds
• grief, change, and life transitions
• faith, meaning, or spiritual curiosity
• joy, beauty, and the small moments that nourish us
The TNS Friendship Circle is a free and open community space for both members and non-members of TNSC.
When you RSVP, you’ll receive an email from Leah sharing more about the space along with an invite to explore membership in The Nourished Sensitive Collective.
