[5-Part Love Letter Series] Find Sanctuary in Your Sensitivity: A Holistic Journey to Thriving as a Highly Sensitive Person
Join me on a transformative guided journey to nurturing your mind, body, and spirit through connection with nature and holistic practices tailored to your unique needs as a highly-sensitive person.
Dear friends and readers,
Hello again, it’s Leah—your friendly neighborhood writer of love letters, and fellow traveler on this path to authentic and empowered living as a highly sensitive person.
I’m so glad you’re here because I’ve been working on something really special under this Full Moon in Aquarius, and I’m thrilled to share it with you.
Welcome to a 5-Part Love Letter Series!
Find Sanctuary in Your Sensitivity: A Holistic Journey to Empowered Living for Highly-Sensitive People.
What follows is a series of love letters (written by yours truly) to all of us who navigate the world with heightened sensitivity—offering practical guidance, heartfelt reflections, and a deep connection to the natural world around us.
Originally, I sat down to write a single, comprehensive post to detail my experienced and thoughts on how highly sensitive people (HSPs) can best care for themselves through nature, movement, and holistic well-being. But as I poured my heart into it, I realized that there was so much to share, and each topic deserved the space to be fully explored and appreciated.
So, instead of one long post, I decided to break it into a series. This way, we can walk through this journey together, one step at a time, without feeling overwhelmed. We can take our time, reflect on each piece, and truly immerse ourselves in the wisdom and practices that can help us thrive as sensitive individuals.
In this special 5-Part Love Letter Series, we’ll explore:
💗 Part 1: The importance of preserving and connecting with nature as a highly sensitive person—and how it can deeply impact your well-being.
💗 Part 2: How restorative movement serves as a powerful tool—for emotional, physical, and spiritual balance in highly-sensitive people.
💗 Part 3: The profound wisdom that nature can offer us—and how tapping into these messages can enhance your life as an HSP.
💗 Part 4: What we can learn from animal messengers—and the secret to embracing your authentic voice as a highly sensitive person.
💗 Part 5: An introduction to The 9 Elements of Nourishment —an integrative health and wellness framework designed to help sensitive people thrive.
By breaking the content into a series, I hope to create a more meaningful and engaging experience for you—one where each part of the journey can be savored and reflected upon before moving on to the next.
This series is not just about self-care; it's about embracing who we are as sensitive beings and recognizing the unique gifts we bring to the world. So, whether you're looking to deepen your connection with nature, find balance in your daily life, or simply explore new ways to nourish your sensitive soul, I hope these posts offer you the inspiration and guidance you need.
The first day of this series goes live tomorrow at 11:11 AM EST, so stay tuned!
With gratitude,
💗 Leah
About Me, Leah—the lover behind these letters. I am a visual storyteller. I like to tell stories through art pieces I create like collages, playlists that I curate, and candid photographs and videos of my daily life that I pair with words that energetically match. I’m a hopeless romantic. I like writing love notes (like this one), and I appreciate life’s little romances, like a warm cup of tea in the morning, sunrise hikes, sending a handwritten postcard to a friend, or stopping to smell the flowers.
If you’re wondering what it’s like inside my head, picture this: a 90’s rom-com meets Anne of Green Gables, with a sprinkle of Secret Garden. It took me a while to find these authentic parts of myself, but these days my dreaminess, inspiration, and childlike wonder are some of my favorite parts of who I am—including my sensitivity.
After I discovered myself as a highly-sensitive person, I began to envision a new life for myself and people like me— this vision became what is now The Nourished Sensitive.
As head gardener at TNS, my dream is to give back from the abundance grown from this business and community; to protect the planet, take care of people and causes I care about, and offer generosity and love to those who need.
Welcome, and thank you for being here with me. 🫶
PS. In the next post, we’ll explore why preserving and connecting with the natural world isn’t just a nice-to-have, but a lifeline for our peace of mind, emotional balance, and overall well-being as sensitive beings.
We’ll dive into how these connections can become a vital part of your life, providing the solace, strength, and clarity that we all need to thrive in our sensitivity.
So, if you’re ready to discover the sanctuary that’s waiting for you just beyond your doorstep, let’s take this first step together. I’m SO excited to share this with you!!
PPS. Before we dive in, I’d love to hear from you: What’s one area of your life where you feel your sensitivity most deeply? Whether it’s in your connection with nature, your relationships, or your self-care routines, I invite you to share.
The area in my life where I feel the most sensitivity is through my relationships. This is in any form, the way I work with people, my close family and friends, even within my animal relationships. I love deeply and am extremely loyal so I can very much feel into those around me. It can be a great gift and a bit of a challenge that I have been working on my entire life. I’m so excited to keep reading on this journey with you!
I love the term “sensitive soul.” Because it really does feel like my soul is the most sensitive aspect of me. I don’t always feel especially sensitive to my surroundings but I’ve noticed throughout my life that I dissociate often and it can feel overwhelming for my spirit to remain grounded here on Earth. I’ve learned to accept and even appreciate this aspect of myself, while learning how to take care of my sensitive soul so she feels safe and welcome to be present in any experiences the moment offers. I’m excited imagining how much I will learn and grow from connecting with other sensitive souls on parallel healing paths. Thanks Leah for opening the garden gates! 🦋
